Kristen Gardiner

Kristen is currently a Clinical PsyD student at William James College. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fordham University with a B.S. in Psychology, a Minor in Spanish, and a Concentration in American Catholic Studies. Kristen’s family is from Mexico, and she is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Before attending William James College, Kristen worked as a Mobile Exposure Coach at the Pediatric Anxiety Research Center (PARC) with Bradley Hospital at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. While at PARC, Kristen provided weekly in-home Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) therapy to children aged 5 to 18 and received weekly supervision from Ph.D. psychologists. Being in a home setting, she witnessed the importance of caregiver involvement in children's treatment outcomes, which has led her to pursue working with families and individuals.

Kristen has gained valuable experience working with children and their families. She hopes to further concentrate on family therapy to continue helping children and families build cohesion and improve overall wellbeing.
