Alyssa is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She has been practicing for the past 9 years with adults, adolescents, and children in multiple settings and from diverse populations. Alyssa is bi-lingual and speaks both English and Haitian-Creole.

Her journey to become a psychologist started with my Introductory Psychology course at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She later graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2011 with a B.S in Psychology. She obtained a M.S in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in 2015, where she was also inducted into an international counseling honors society, Chi Sigma Iota-Lambda Chapter. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and has a concentration in African and Caribbean Mental Health.

Her main objective in pursuing a career as a mental health professional is to promote social justice and address the challenges faced in BIPOC communities, such as accessing quality and affordable mental health care.
